Raw Sausage Flavored Pizza

The most amazing raw food pizza you ever had

Ingredients: 

Crust
1 cup of almonds - blanched or un-blanched
½ cup of raw cashews
2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast
1-2 tablespoons of water

HOMEMADE Raw SAUSAGE
1 cup of walnut ground to the consistency of ground beef
2 1/2 tsp. sage
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. cayenne
3/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 bay leaf, crushed
Dash of celery seed
Other seasonings - optional Ingredients
1 tablespoons rosemary
1 tablespoon fennel
1 teaspoon of Celtic or sea salt
2 tablespoons black pepper (fresh peppercorns if possible)
1/2 tablespoon agave
½ - 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper (to taste)
1 cloves garlic
3 tablespoons olive oil

Pizza Sauce

2 cups of fresh chopped tomatoes
2-4 gloves of garlic
½ cup chopped fresh basil or ¼ cup dried basil
Juice of 1 medium lemon
2 tablespoons of olive oil
4 dates or some raisins
1 cup of sun-dried tomatoes

 

Directions: 

Crust
Grind nuts in food processor; add just enough water to make a ball of "dough". Roll out between two pieces of waxed paper until about 1/4" thick.  Take the top piece of waxed paper off and flip "dough" into a pizza pan that will fit in the dehydrator. Form fit the crust by pressing into the pie tin dehydrate until dry about 1-2 hours

HOMEMADE Raw SAUSAGE
First mix seasonings together, making sure they are all the same fine consistency.
Then mix very well with ground walnuts.
Play with the seasoning until you get the desired sausage-like flavor.
You may need to add more sage than the recipe requires. 
You can make the flavor hot or mild depending on your taste.

Pizza Sauce
Blend everything until smooth

Put the sauce on the crust then the sausage on top of that.  Dehydrate for a few more minutes if you want the whole thing warm

Put it all together

Pizza Toppings – Chopped Green Pepper and Onion or olives, pineapple or what ever you like.

Make the crust – add the sauce to the crust - then the pizza toppings and the raw sausage.  Dehydrate for about 2 more hours and enjoy.
